Beijing Airport 15-02-2013
17.58. I am sitting in the departure hall. Watching dozens of times the new VW Beetle advertising. Chattering is all around me. It’s like music to my ears. Laughing Children, excited calls of passengers. The Airport staff is welcoming me in decent English.
At the airport I am ambling through the shops, with a wide grin on the face. My eyes fall on small bags with rabbit meat. I’m starting to bounce excitedly on the spot. Unfortunately the Hare in front of me can’t do so any more.
The first Fast Food Restaurant that catches my eye is Aijisen ramen. It brings back good memories. Last year, when almost all the other shops closed for the Spring Festival, I have been there 4 times in 3 days.
The Terminal A is as huge as my anticipation. And once again I am strolling through the duty free shops…
